China’s civil helicopter market is in an infinite demand!
 
       CAAC has started to open part of China’s low-altitude airspace - altitudes lower than 1,000 meters for private flights, which mostly benefit helicopters and fixed-wing aircrafts. With the rise of the general aviation market, China will soon become the fastest demand growing helicopter market in the world. The deputy manager of AVIC forecast that China's demand for helicopters is expected to reach 1,867 helicopters before 2013 representing a market value of $4.9 billion, in the next 20 years the number of civilian helicopters country is expected to reach about 10,000, or at least 3000 in the conservative estimate.
 
       Today, Chinese helicopters are primarily used in offshore operations, law enforcement, and Emergency medical services (EMS). According to “twelfth five-year plan of state aircraft emergency rescue system”, China has planned to gradually build 850 aviation emergency rescue base in line with international standards as China's first "special aviation emergency training base" was officially launched in Anyang City, Henan Province in 2013, which will bring tremendous opportunities for the development of EMS helicopter. As one of the important applications of helicopter in China, we have reason to believe that the Chinese helicopter market will usher in an explosive development in an all-round way.
