Built to the same standards of Washburn's best selling D10S (515152 see customer products box on this page), the F10S has all the same great features and tone with a more comfortable, folk style body. The solid spruce top provides remarkable response and projection that will only get better with age. Also features a mahogany back, sides, and neck; rosewood fretboard and bridge; and a truss rod for neck adjustments. Aesthetic enhancements include multi lam top binding, neck binding, diamond inlaid marquetry rosette, dot fretboard inlays, chrome die cast tuners, and a buffed gloss finish.

I was surpised how well the guitar was constructed. Joints were clean, crisp and flush, neck straight, no globs of glue inside or out. Finish even and no blemishes. Frets dressed properly, and on mine no buzzing anywhere. All notes sounded in tune on every fret, and I played every one before I bought it. Intonation was dead on. Action is set low the way I like it so it doesn't take a ton of finger pressure to barre. Neck/fretboard is straight, slender and quick. Tone, well, it sounds like the other two Washburns I have.. Warm and clean for the lows, bright but not tinny for the highs. Very, very hard to beat this guitar for the price.
