Bold, American made tone in a classic acoustic guitar.
From singing cowboy stars of the 1930s to rock and country superstars of today, the most influential artists have chosen Gibson's SJ 200, the King of the Flat Tops, to make a bold statement of musical excellence. Today's SJ 200 is modeled on the classic early '50s, maple bodied model.
Each Limited Edition True Vintage SJ 200 is built in Bozeman, Montana with a top made from solid Red Spruce, a rare and highly prized tone wood, and constructed with hot hide glue, just like back in the day. The guitar comes with a custom made, period correct case, and a certificate of authenticity. Additionally, upon filing your warranty registration card, Gibson will send you a specially designed jacket embroidered with the model name of the guitar they have purchased and an embroidered custom run case cover.
Gibson has only released 167 of these guitars.
