Reviews From Buyers
I'm a 13 year old who has been playing guitar for four years and is the lead guitarist in a band. I didn't actually buy this guitar, but after playing it for a little while I made several observations:
The neck has a very nice feel, almost like an acoustic guitar, and is very comfortable. It is fairly thin, but not small, and has a slightly grainy feel without the uncomfortable gloss finish. This guitar has 24 jumbo frets, with the unique characteristic that although the frets do get smaller the higher up you go, it's still easy to solo up there, even with my fat fingers, and it has easier access to the higher frets then a Flying V or Rhoads. I also love the six to a side tuners.
As far as the electronics go, the pickups are very nice and don't get muddy even with the gain cranked up to 10. They sound great clean too. This makes the soloist a super versatile guitar. The Floyd Rose bridge is great and keeps the guitar in tune even after multiple dive bombs. I typically like more knobs on a guitar, as I usually associate more knobs with more control, but despite having only master tone and volume knobs, you still get a lot of control over your sound.
In all, it's a sick guitar, not just for hard rock and metal, but for pretty much any genre you can think of, with solid hardware and electronics as well as a great feel and eye catching looks.
