Versatile Fender Tone The Aerodyne features two distinct Fender pickups to cover a wide range of classic bass tones. In the forward position, a split-coil Precision pickup offers the thunderous low-end that's made the P Bass a hard-rock standard for decades. In the bridge position, a single-coil Jazz pickup delivers all the hallmarks of the J Bass sound, with punchy mids and well-defined highs. Use the dual volume and tone knobs to dial in sounds to cover any genre with engrossing bass sound.
Ultra-smooth PlayabilityThis J Bass uses thin C shaped profile which invites speedy play all up and down the fretboard. The combination of maple for the neck with a rosewood fingerboard provides the classic feel of an original Fender. The body features a comfortable back contour which centers the bass on the player's torso.

Reviews From Buyers
The sound is great... Lots of tone shaping with the P anf J pickup combination. My only complaint is that the J pickup tends to be noisy. Othere than that the sound is terrific. The bass came with Fender Super 7250 strings 45 thru 100. I usually use Roto Sound 40 - 95 but these sound and feel so good I am going to start using them on my other Fenders.
