The Performing Artist Series GPCPA4 Grand Performance Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a grand performance style body constructed with solid tonewoods. The back and sides are matched from African sapele, similar in appearance and tone to mahogany. Bookmatched Sitka spruce soundboards utilize Martin's Hybrid "A-Frame" scalloped bracing.
The Performing Artist Series GPCPA4 Grand Performance Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric features a slim, more parallel taper at the 12th fret, allowing for a more comfortable playing width up the neck. The bridge spacing is also modified to 2-3/16 in. - splitting the difference between Martin's two traditional spacings.
Along with the look, feel, and enhanced performance of Martin's existing Performing Artist Series models, the Performing Artist Series GPCPA4 Grand Performance Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric has the simplified Fishman F1 Analog electronics system.
Reviews From Buyers
After I bought my first Martin I thought it was the best electric acoustic guitar I have ever owned. When I opened the box and held this one for the first time it became number one. This guitar not only feels great, it plays fantastic plugged or unplugged. Action is great, stays in tune, and has the feel of a great guitar. The sound is very warm and will not disappoint. For the price, I recommend this for any serious guitar player.
